LIV and LIV Beach, the nightclub and daytime venues in Fontainebleau Las Vegas, just completed a months-long renovation, merging the two destinations into the ultimate indoor-outdoor entertainment spot on the Strip. The significant expansion—LIV now boasts 80,000 square feet of space—comes less than two years after its opening.
“We immediately knew we had to expand after our first show with [DJ] John Summit, when we had to turn away over 1,000 people,” David Grutman, the founder of Groot Hospitality and LIV, told T+L. In response to overwhelming demand, the decision was made following their inaugural pool season to combine the day and night operations, creating a more seamless experience for guests. What were once separate spaces are now a unified, expansive venue that offers a dynamic, immersive “festival-like” atmosphere.

The reconfigured space came at “an eight-figure cost,” according to Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and now features two distinct entrances, giving it the feel of a high-energy stadium arena rather than a typical amphitheater. General admission guests will enter through the second floor of the nightclub, while VIPs with table, cabana, or bungalow reservations will use a premium field-level entrance directly on the resort’s pool deck.
The new design also ensures an elevated experience with improved sightlines toward the DJ booth, more greenery, and an upgraded mixology program featuring 15 exclusive specialty cocktails.
Inside LIV Nightclub, the stage has been lowered, and the dance floor has been expanded, a move that Grutman said “puts everyone in the action.” A new premium backstage ticketing option, GA+, grants fans access to the backstage area with exclusive access to a private bar (a first for Las Vegas, as backstage areas have historically been reserved for the priciest tables). Additionally, new LED enhancements elevate the production value, and table customers can now order pizza from Miami Slice.

Outside, LIV Beach has expanded its table count by 33, each featuring private safes and access to a curated menu from Groot Hospitality. For those booking one of the luxurious cabanas or bungalows, complete with private pools and bathrooms, the indulgence continues with premium sushi and meats from Grutman’s Komodo and Papi Steak restaurants.
The newly expanded indoor-outdoor space also allows for overflow tables inside the nightclub, where attendees can enjoy a live feed of the outdoor performances in a climate-controlled environment. As night falls, clubgoers can similarly venture into LIV Beach, where they’ll find DJ programming and a stream of the evening’s headliner. The current lineup at LIV includes performances by DJs like Tiësto, Metro Boomin, Dom Dolla, and David Guetta.
LIV opened its doors in Fontainebleau Las Vegas in late 2023, 15 years after its famed Miami counterpart. Grutman and Jeff Soffer, chairman and CEO of Fontainebleau Development, curated the resort’s entertainment district, which included outposts of Grutman’s renowned Miami venues: Papi Steak, Komodo, LIV Nightclub, and the then all-new LIV Beach dayclub.
