Alanna Strauss, Piper Heitzler and Campbell Torchin have joined CAA in the Media & Entertainment Partnerships department. The strategic expansion reflects the group’s continued growth under the leadership of veteran marketing executive Libby Bush.
Strauss, Heitzler and Torchin bring a wealth of experience and expertise to CAA, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to providing innovative, strategic solutions for its clients in an ever-evolving media landscape.
CAA’s Media & Entertainment Partnerships department creates powerful content partnerships between brands, media companies, world-class talent and IP. The department focuses on delivering financing, integrations and promotional marketing opportunities in support of film, TV and social content.
Strauss joins CAA as Media & Entertainment Partnerships Head of Content and Marketing Solutions, where she brings together brands and today’s most prolific storytellers to develop original content and marketing partnerships. Prior to CAA, she built and launched The Martin Agency’s entertainment department and ran the agency’s Cultural Impact lab. She also served as SVP of Creative & Content at Fender, overseeing brand strategy and digital platforms. Before that she built and led the creative team for global brand partnerships at Netflix.
Torchin, a Brand Content & Marketing Executive, will lead the development of brand content strategies and entertainment-driven marketing solutions. Prior to joining CAA, she spent three and a half years at Westbrook Media, the studio founded by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, overseeing brand content initiatives spanning branded campaigns, talent-focused digital content, experiential activations, social-first storytelling, entertainment marketing, and partnerships across film and TV. Torchin also worked with world-class brands and leading agencies including United Airlines, Ulta Beauty, PXG, Insta360, Mediahub, The Content Collective and more.
Heitzler joins as a Sales Executive bringing together content, media, and live entertainment opportunities with globally renowned brands. Previously the Chief of Staff of Merlin Entertainments, the second largest location-based entertainment company in the world behind Disney, she was responsible for accelerating enterprise-wide transformation and catalyzing new, high-impact growth initiatives. Prior to Merlin, she managed the business development, marketing, public relations, and solutions engineering departments for global advertising technology company, Amobee, where she worked with best-in-class brands, agencies and broadcasters across North America, Europe and Southeast Asia.
